Deep Cleaning
Intensive, top-to-bottom cleaning for spaces that need extra attention. Perfect as a starting point or seasonal reset.
About This Service
A deep clean is not just a longer regular clean — it is a different scope. We address areas, surfaces, and detail work that recurring service intentionally skips.
Deep cleaning is for spaces that haven’t been touched in a while, post-renovation or post-construction sites, seasonal resets, or homes preparing for a special event. The work goes well beyond a recurring clean — baseboards, vents, inside cabinets, ovens, appliance interiors, walls, and surfaces typically out of scope are all handled.
Deep cleans take longer per visit and are quoted by the property, not the hour.
Care, Not Just Cleaning: How We Protect Your Home During a Deep Clean
A deep clean reaches places a regular visit never touches, and that is where delicate finishes are most at risk. Our team cleans deeper without putting your materials in danger.
- Materials we protect: marble and natural stone, granite counters, hardwood floors and cabinetry, fine furniture, luxury textiles and upholstery, and framed art.
- How the team works: trained specialists check each surface first, choose the product and technique it needs and work room by room, never with one harsh product for everything.
- What we teach you: after the deep clean we show you how to keep stone, wood and fabric at that level, so the result lasts longer.
We care for your property as if it were our own home. Book your VIP consultation and we will walk through the home with you.
After smoke or ash, follow our fire season home cleaning calendar. Hosting soon? Start with holiday hosting prep or the 10-day Thanksgiving cleaning plan.

Who needs a deep cleaning?
A deep cleaning is a one-time, top-to-bottom clean that reaches the areas a recurring service skips: inside appliances and cabinets, baseboards, vents, grout and the care of stone and hardwood. FJ Luxury Services does deep cleaning in Los Angeles homes, quoted by the property after a free estimate.
- Homes starting recurring service, so the weekly clean can maintain instead of catching up.
- Seasonal resets in spring or before the holidays.
- Homes after a renovation or a construction project, where fine dust settles everywhere.
- Homes after smoke or ash in fire season. See the wildfire smoke cleanup guide.
- Before an event or a sale.
Deep cleaning vs. regular cleaning: what is the difference?
| Area | Recurring clean | Deep clean |
|---|---|---|
| Kitchen | Counters, fronts, sink, floors | Inside oven, refrigerator and microwave; inside cabinets and pantry shelves |
| Bathrooms | Surfaces, fixtures, mirrors | Grout and tile detail |
| Walls and trim | Dusting of reachable surfaces | Baseboards, door frames and switch plates by hand; wall spot-cleaning where possible |
| Air and light | Not included | Vents, ceiling fans and light fixtures |
| Windows | Smudges | Window interiors and tracks |
| Floors and finishes | Regular floor care | Marble, hardwood and natural-stone treatment |
| After construction | Not included | Post-construction dust protocol where applicable |

Post-renovation deep cleaning
Renovation dust is not normal dust. It carries drywall, sawdust and fine particles from cutting tile or stone, it settles on every surface and it gets pulled into the HVAC. A regular clean moves it around. Our post-construction protocol captures it first and cleans after. Read the post-renovation deep cleaning guide and the post-construction cleaning checklist.
How does it work?

- Written quote within 24 hours, Monday to Saturday, with the scope listed.

Why FJ Luxury Services?
- Products matched to each surface, so marble, natural stone and hardwood are cleaned without damage. See how we clean marble and natural stone.
- An insured, bonded and background-checked team.
- Eco-friendly, non-toxic products by default, safe around children and pets.
- After the deep clean, the same team can keep the home on a recurring schedule. See residential cleaning.
What changes a deep cleaning estimate?
Two homes of the same size can need very different deep cleans. These are the factors we look at during the free estimate, and they are the reason we quote by the property instead of by the hour:
- Size and layout. Square footage, number of bathrooms and kitchens, and guest houses or pool houses.
- Time since the last deep clean. A home on recurring service needs less work than one that has not been deep cleaned in a year.
- Materials. Marble, natural stone, hardwood and specialty finishes need specific products and more time.
- Renovation or smoke. Construction dust and ash call for the post-construction protocol.
- Extras. Carpet shampoo, exterior windows or a garage, if you want them included.
- Timing. A deadline such as an event, a sale or a move-in date.
Tell us these details when you call and the written quote will reflect them.

More questions about deep cleaning
How much does a deep cleaning cost in Los Angeles?
Deep cleans are quoted by the property, not by the hour: size, condition, materials and whether there is renovation dust. You get a written quote within 24 hours of the estimate. Our guide on what changes a deep cleaning estimate explains each factor.
How often should a home be deep cleaned?
Most homes need one before recurring service starts and then once a quarter. Homes with renovation, pets or frequent events may need it more often.
Do you deep clean kitchens?
Yes. The kitchen is the room with the most work in a deep clean: inside the oven, refrigerator and microwave, inside the cabinets and pantry, and grout and tile detail.
Do I need to be home during the deep cleaning?
No. Many clients give access through their house manager, building or a lockbox. We confirm the start and the end of the visit.
